I was born in a small industrial town in Tangshan, Hebei. In my memory, the backdrop of childhood was crowded and clamorous. At that time, dozens of households shared overloaded, cramped bathroom spaces, where the air was perpetually thick with a lingering, heavy sense of oppression. Standing amidst those odors as a youth, I wondered countless times: Everyone deserves clean, fragrant spaces.
This obsession with “Olfactory Dignity” became the origin of JOREAS. Even today, though our dwellings have been modernized, the bathroom—our final sanctuary for shedding the day’s fatigue—is still often invaded by persistent odors. We created JOREAS with the hope of harnessing the pure power of natural botanicals to shorten the presence of unwanted scents and extend the moments of sensory bliss.
